How we review

We review every app against the same criteria, including our own.

What the reviews are based on

As of September 26, 2026, the reviews are based on public information: each maker's own pages and the US App Store (price, ratings and features). We have not run our own measurements yet. When we test ourselves, we add the results with a date.

No ranking

We don't rank the apps from best to worst, because they do different things. Instead we say what each app is best for, so you can pick the one that fits you. Our own product is listed first because it is ours, and it is labeled as such. The others are in no ranked order.

Money

PainFreeU makes PFU Pocket and earns money if you choose it. Our own product is labeled “Our own product” wherever we describe it, and links to it are labeled “Ad”. We have no deals with, and are not paid by, any of the other apps.
